On today’s show, we celebrated a couple of things. We chatted with outsider folk singer-songwriter Amy Annelle, whose cover of Townes Van Zandt’s “Buckskin Stallion Blues” appeared in the Golden Globe Best Film, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”! We got to explore a bit of her album “The Great Unveiling” as well. And we celebrated the incoming flood of great new 2018 indie music! It was a thrill to play the first ever collaboration between Wade Johnson and John Borack, and to play a track from Lisa Said’s new band, Piramid Scheme! 2018 is looking pretty good from where I sit!
