I am excitedly counting down the days until Twirl’s (hopefully) triumphant return to the airwaves. Saturday, September 30th, 2006 is the big day. I went into the studios of The Voice today, and sat in on Salsa con Sabor, (Saturdays, 12:00-2:00 p.m.) featuring my friend Leon Reyes, the “Mayor of Salsamento”! I wanted to make sure I remember how to use the board and other studio equipment. Sure, everybody makes mistakes. I just don’t want to make mine on the air. But wait–that might actually be a good promotional tool. I could promote Twirl as the only radio show in Sacramento that features intentional mistakes–to keep the listeners alert!
